Planner Colors
Planners, like others functional things, are more fun and appealing with colors.
Making something pleasant to the eye is always a good way to make it “something that someone is happy to do” instead of “something that someone has to do“.
Colors for planners are much more than fun and can be really useful to get something at a glance.
One can color code the different parts of her life or use color to prioritize stuff.
Colors can be added in various ways: with stickers or markers or highlighters or anything else.
I tried color coding with pens in different ink colors; dividing work, art-craft and extra and it worked for a while.
I ended using black ink and highlighting with color around what I write according to the argument.
In this way, I can bring with me only one pen and add the right color later on.
Plus I can be sure to write with the right ink every time even without thinking too much on the go.
Obviously, one can also code stuff in her planner without colors, simply using different dots or borders.
Colors are not for everyone but why not trying them for one week or one month just to see how it goes?
P.S. If you were wondering about pink … that is my favorite color.
